Teak carries its own oil, which is why it does not drink moisture or crack like beech. The board from a carving workshop in Mas is cut from a single plank, with rounded edges that sit well in the hand. For bread and cheese, but also for olives and fruit brought to the table.
Two sizes: 31 × 18 cm and 41 × 21 cm, 2 cm thick. Wipe dry after washing and rub with food-grade oil every few weeks — the wood repays you with a deeper colour.
