Purnama rattan pendant lamp

A rattan shade woven in the shape of a full moon; purnama means exactly that. Light passes through the weave and draws its pattern on the ceiling. We saw the shades at a supplier in Sawah, where hundreds of them hung under a tin roof. The weave is looser than in baskets, because a lamp is meant to shine, not carry. Rattan is a fibre of which Indonesia is the world’s largest producer.
Three sizes: S (Ø30 cm), M (Ø45 cm) and XL (Ø60 cm); state the size in the order notes. If you leave it blank, we will ask by e-mail before shipping. The set is the shade with its hanger. An E27 fitting and cord are available from any lighting shop, or we can add them to your order — say so in the notes. Parcel dimensions: 65 × 65 × 65 cm, about 2 kg packed.
Above the table, above the bed, or in a corner of the living room instead of a floor lamp. Two or three spheres in different sizes, hung at different heights, give the nicest effect. Warm, dimmed light brings out the pattern of the weave.
Material and care: rattan likes dry rooms and dislikes sitting next to a radiator or in strong sun. Dust with a soft brush or a dry cloth. Use bulbs that do not heat up (LED).
Handmade: every shade is woven by hand. The density of the weave, the shade of the fibre, the shape of the sphere and the exact diameter may differ from the photo. That is the nature of wickerwork, not a defect.
Pre-order from the container: no prepayment when you order, and we send a photo of your actual piece before shipping.
Pre-order price in Polish złoty; the euro amount is approximate (NBP rate). Settled when the container arrives.
