Surya rattan sun mirror

A round mirror in a radiating frame woven from rattan, raffia or grass. Sun (surya), eye or flower pattern. We chose them at a showroom on Andong near Ubud, where a whole wall is sun mirrors: from plain rings to dense, ragged rays.

Overall diameter 38–58 cm, mirror glass Ø15–25 cm. Light, under 1 kg, hung from a single loop. State the pattern and size in the order notes. If you leave it blank, we will ask by e-mail before shipping.

Above a chest of drawers in the hallway, over the bedhead, or in a bathroom without steam. A few pieces in different sizes, hung side by side, make a wall of suns. It looks good on a white wall and on dark green.

Material and care: natural fibres like dry air; do not hang next to a radiator or in a very humid room. Dust the rays with a soft brush and wipe the glass with a damp cloth.

Handmade: every frame is woven by hand. The number and length of the rays, the shade of the fibre and the exact diameter differ from the photo. That is the nature of handwork, not a defect.
