Matahari XL rattan mirror Ø100

Matahari is the “eye of the day” — the sun. This is a large sun mirror: glass in a frame of tightly woven rattan, surrounded by grass rays. The largest mirrors are woven on a wooden form over two days, in the Andong hall near Ubud.

Overall diameter 100 cm, glass Ø45–50 cm. Two hanging points. Package dimensions: 105×105×10 cm, packed weight 4 kg.

A statement piece: above a hallway console, over a bedroom chest of drawers, above the sofa. One per wall — more will not fit, and need not.

Material and care: keep the rattan and grass dry, away from radiators and steam; dust with a soft brush. Clean the glass with cleaner applied to a cloth — do not spray the frame.

Handmade: the arrangement of the rays, the density of the weave and the shade of each mirror differ from the photo — that is the nature of handwork, not a flaw.
