Handwoven endek table runner from Sidemen

Endek is Balinese ikat: the threads are dyed before weaving, so the pattern blurs at the edges — the mark of handwork, not a flaw. A cotton runner woven on a hand loom at the Pelangi workshop in Sidemen, which we visited in August 2026.
About 40 × 150 cm — a length that suits a dining table, a sideboard or a low bench.
On the table it stands in for a cloth: the top stays visible, but gains rhythm and colour. It also works as a band across the bed, over a chest or draped over a chair back.
Material and care: hand wash in cool water, separately, without wringing. Dry flat in the shade and iron on the reverse.
Handmade: every runner is woven individually, so the blur of the pattern, the shades and the dimensions may differ from the photo. This is the nature of loom-woven cloth, not a defect.
