Jenggala ceramic plates, Leaves series
Coming soon · price once the maker is chosen
Stoneware from the Jenggala workshop in Jimbaran — working since the 1970s and known well beyond Bali. Plates and small bowls shaped like banana and lotus leaves, in a moss-green glaze. We visited the Jenggala showroom in August 2026.
The series includes plates and small bowls; we will give exact dimensions once the set is settled. Every leaf impression is different — with the veins and unevenness of a real leaf.
For the everyday table and for guests: a banana leaf under fruit or sushi, smaller lotus leaves for sauces, nuts and snacks. In Bali the lotus is the throne of the gods, so a small bowl carries a little of that meaning.
Material and care: the stoneware is dishwasher safe. Avoid sudden changes of temperature — do not take a dish from the fridge straight onto a hot hob.
Handmade: every plate is formed individually, so the vein pattern, the shade of the glaze and the dimensions vary from piece to piece. This is the nature of workshop ceramics, not a defect.
Coming soon, no price yet: we want the series in the next container. Leave your e-mail and we will write when we know the price.
