The Pura console is a long single-trunk slab of suar wood on a plain teak base. Suar, known as the rain tree, has dark, interlocked fibres — which is why wide slabs do not split along the core. The console is made at Ketut Puja’s workshop in Bali, where each top is chosen from the whole trunk before it is cut. Pura means temple.
Approximate size: 160–200 × 40–50 cm, height 75–80 cm, top thickness 6–8 cm. The piece weighs 60–90 kg, so it ships on a pallet. Package dimensions: 200×50×85 cm, packed weight 80 kg.
It suits a hallway, a dining-room wall or the space behind a sofa. The raw edge and the smooth, oiled surface set the mood on their own — add a lamp, a plant or an incense holder.
Material and care: oiled wood does not like standing water, so wipe spills straight away. Refresh the top with wood oil now and then. Keep the console away from radiators and full sun.
Handmade: every trunk is different. Grain, shade, edge shape and exact dimensions will differ from the photo — that is the nature of solid wood, not a flaw.
Pre-order from the container: no prepayment when you order, and we send a photo of your actual piece before shipping.
Pre-order price in Polish złoty; the euro amount is approximate (NBP rate). Settled when the container arrives.
