A gift set of three small things that turn a corner of the home into a piece of the island. It contains a Genta bamboo wind chime, a Kerang hanging of shell and raffia, and a Mata mirror framed in shell. The shells are hand-selected, piece by piece.
Three light pieces, each made to hang. We pack them together, ready to give.
The chime on a balcony or by a window left ajar, so it speaks in a draught; the hanging in the hallway or above the bed; the mirror in a child’s room or by the door. Together they give a quiet seaside note without excess.
Material and care: wipe the shells with a damp cloth and dry. Bamboo and raffia like dry air; do not hang in the rain or next to a radiator. Hang where the pieces will not knock against anything.
Handmade: the arrangement of the shells, their shade, the length of the cords and the exact dimensions differ between pieces and from the photo. That is the nature of handwork, not a defect.
